Abstract

President, Australian Council of Trade Unions, A E Monk, assisted by the Secretary Gas Employees' Union, R Schafer, unveil a bronze bust of Charles Alfred Crofts at the official opening of the new Australian Council of Trade Unions building, 30 June 1954. Crofts had been Secretary, Australian Council of Trade Unions, 1928-1944, and Secretary, Gas Employeesâ Union, 1914-1950.
