Abstract

Model 84-2 veterinary He-Ne laser therapy apparatus was used for scanning the spots of internal canthus and crown of the hens for 10 seconds lasted for 10 days with the power of 3 mw. The later 5 weeks' observation showed that the He-Ne laser irradiation has significant effect in increasing the laying rate and the average egg weight, decreasing the broken-egg rate and soft-shelled egg rate. More experiments should be made in poultry production.
