Research on the influence of discussion between people in different groups on opinion evolution

Abstract

For the reality that people in different groups can still discuss in the real opinion environment, this paper presented opinion evolution formula, prescribed how people in different groups discussed, established a new opinion evolution model including discussion between people in different groups. This paper analyzed the opinion evolution instances with and without discussion between people in different groups, pointed out that the discussion between people in different groups can make great influence on opinion evolution. After making simulation, we discovered that the discussion between people in different groups can accelerate opinion evolution as a whole, and make people in these two groups agree on the same point of view. Simulation shows that the proposed formula meets with the reality, can explain the influence because of discussion between people in different groups, have a high significance of realism. Show more
