Abstract

The electron spectrometer described is designed to record electrons of internal conversion in nuclear reactions. The detection efficiency reaches 10% and the energy resolution is 2 kev at an electron energy of 177 kev. The range of measured electron energies can be changed during the measurements without spoiling the vacuum in the spectrometer. Calibration data are presented along with the results of the first experiments in an accelerator beam.
