Present (in no order): Mr Du Ke (Director, Library Department, Ministry of Culture), Mr Gu Singxiang (Deputy Director, Cultural Department, Guangdong Province), Mr Liu Shoulin (Director, Hebei Provincial Library), Ms Lu Suxin (Librarian, Shenzhen Library, Guangdong Province) and Mr Lu Poping (Secretary, Library Department, Ministry of Culture). The Chinese Librarians Delegation's visit to Australia was organised in accordance with the 1992-93 Implementing Program of the Australia-China Cultural Exchange Agreement. The delegation, which was interested in the development of library automation and bibliographic networks in Australia, was hosted by the National Library of Australia.
