Identification of excited states in [Formula Presented]Te

Abstract

Excited states have been identified in [Formula Presented]Te using the [Formula Presented]Fe[Formula Presented]Ni,[Formula Presented] reaction at 240 MeV. Assignment of transitions to [Formula Presented]Te was made via measurements of [Formula Presented] rays in coincidence with both evaporation neutrons and mass-analyzed recoils. The observed cascade of [Formula Presented] rays is assumed to feed an isomeric state with [Formula Presented], similar to the yrast structures observed in other odd-mass tellurium isotopes.
