Abstract

A series of convergent close-coupling (CCC) calculations of the symmetrized amplitudes of the helium atom double photoionization (DPI) were carried out at several fixed excess energies and varying energy ratios. Gaussian fits obtained directly from the theory were provided. Utility of the 4P Gaussian parametrization was illustrated in the case of 40 eV excess energy with E1=35 eV and E2=5 eV. The resulting data were analyzed in detail.
