dc.description.abstractWe study nonlinear coupling of mutually incoherent waves in a one-dimensional optically-induced photonic crystal. We experimentally demonstrate asymmetric discrete mutual focusing and defocusing of beams associated with different Floquet-Bloch waves of the linear transmission spectrum.
